Are you ready to learn how to cook but don’t know where to start? This post is for you my friend. When learning how to cook, the best course of action is to keep it simple. Start by cooking something easy like eggs. Eggs are delicious and a good source of protein. They are versatile ingredients. Their natural blandness is great for exploring many different flavor combinations. This makes it easy to prepare them exactly the way you want. Eggs are very simple to cook because you will learn through trial and error. Eggs only need two ingredients like butter and of course eggs. Eggs only take a few seconds to cook which makes them easy to burn or over cook. Still, they are still one of the best ingredients to start your cooking journey. Now, I like my eggs fluffy because they look more vibrant and full of life. Personally, they just taste better fluffy than regular. How I make them fluffy? I just add milk and I’m sure I’m not the only one who puts milk in their eggs. Nevertheless, the recipe below is my take on making simple, fluffy, and delicious eggs. So let’s get cracking.

Simple and Fluffy Eggs Recipe

What you need:

  • 4 eggs (white or brown)
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 2 pieces of butter
  • salt (to the taste)
  • Pepper (to the taste)
  • 1 pan or skillet
  • whisk or fork
  • Bowl

What to do:

  1. tap the eggs either against the bowl, table, or any hard surface until you hear and see a crack form.
  2. Hold the eggs over the bowl and genteelly pull apart the shell until the egg yolk falls into the bowl. Do it with each egg.
  3. Once all eggs are in the bowl, use either a whisk or fork. Beat the eggs for a few seconds. Then stop.
  4. Add the milk and beat the eggs again until the milk is blended into the eggs.
  5. Add salt and pepper to the taste.
  6. Take a stick of butter and cut two small pieces for melting.
  7. Set the butter aside on a small plate for now.
  8. Take the pan or skillet (this is important) and set it on the stove. We are going to preheat the pan or skillet on the stove for 1 min.
  9. Turn the stove on high heat then promptly turn the heat down to medium to low heat. Wait 1 min for the pan or skillet to heat up before adding butter.
  10. Add the pieces of butter. Let it melt a little. Lift the pan or skillet and rock it side to side to distribute the butter evenly.
  11. Pour the eggs in letting it sit and do it’s thing. After a few seconds, take a fork. Start gathering the egg towards the center. Flip the egg around little by little until it comes together.
  12. Once there is no visible liquid, promptly take it off the heat, plate and enjoy.
