Who doesn’t like a good book? Books are crucial source of material that can help foster intelligence, imagination, critical thinking skills, and so forth. Reading books can help improve mental development while strengthening creativity and empathy. Many people find it challenging or boring to read books. In contrast, others have devoted their lives to developing massive book collections. The key to successfully finding a good book is understanding your interests.
What type of books you like? Genre? What do you look for in a book? Do you go for visuals first? Do you check the reviews? These are just some of the factors that helps people find the perfect book. For instance, I’m a visionary. Therefor, when I’m searching for a book, the book cover has to visually grab my attention.
For example, I should be capable of seeing the story come to life just from looking at the cover. But it doesn’t just stop there. The first couple of pages need to seal the deal. Otherwise, I’m not interested. Another way I choose books is depending on my mood and which of my favorite genres I want to entertain. Let check out my favorite genres.
My favorite genres
These genres are in no particular order.
- Mystery
- Romance
- Adventure
- Thriller/horror
- Fiction
- Sci-Fi
- Erotica
Physical vs Digital books
What’s my preference you ask? Well my whole life I been reading physical books but I prefer digital books. Physical books makes my hands hurt and it’s hard to get comfy. additionally, I don’t like the feel of the pages. Maybe it’s a sensory issue. Digital books are easier to managed from my mobile devices. I can build a collection without taking up space in my home. I also enjoy reading along with the audio book feature. I appreciate both forms of books and I still have a collection of physical books I have acquired. Digital just works best for my needs.
Books I’m now reading
- Biggest Player by Sara Ney
- A Night at the Tropicana by Chanel Cleeton
- Circle of Strangers by Minka Kent
- Frost by C.N. Crawford
- 13 Hardcore Dirty Stories by Lacey Harper

These are just some of the titles that I found interesting thus far and have sparked my interest. There are at least two of the books I’m almost finished with. The others I’m just starting out. I mostly go for the books that have the audio book feature which help keep my brain focused. But, I’ll entertain books without the feature once in a while as I see fit. I like multitasking with multiple genres at once because it enhances my visual writing skills. Furthermore, I get motivated and inspired as I continue to improve my creativity and innovation. I enjoy the many adventures and worlds I experience through some amazing books. I can’t wait to explore more books and experiencing their stories.
